In 2019 Greenleaf was created to fill a critical gap in services for young adults with autism and related neurodivergent conditions. What began as a small, community-based initiative has since evolved into a vibrant, inclusive community school for learning.
Our Vision
In 2021, Greenleaf partnered with the Austin Independent School District to become a public charter school for students ages 18 and older. Using project-based learning and the evidence-based curriculum, the school equips students with essential life and career skills in a supportive environment tailored to their strengths. Greenleaf is a certified provider through Texas Workforce Solutions, delivering vocational training, and life readiness programs.
At its heart, Greenleaf is guided by a simple but powerful mission: to foster the abilities of neurodivergent individuals so they can thrive in the community, in the workplace, and in life. Greenleaf is more than a program—it’s a community. It’s a place where neurodivergent voices are centered, talents are celebrated, and the future is full of possibility.
